Mayer Hawthorne collaborated with Umami chef John Herndon and customized his own burger, “The Hawthorne”.  The burger is a beef patty with cognac-infused parsnip puree, cognac fondue sauce, hatch chiles and crispy hatch chile straws and is available at the Umami Urban location in Hollywood.  Check out the review by Los Anjealous below.
